Lea lives in Shelburne Falls, MA. She is the founder of the Collected Poets Series in Shelburne Falls, MA, editor of Oscillation: Poetry in Motion, past poetry editor of the Equinox and editorial assistant for the Marlboro Review.

She attended New England College's MFA program, facilitated stroke survivors' writing workshops, and managed her daughter's modeling career (see pics on left, i.e. she's part of my bio!).

Works in Progress: The Domestic Darling - an online vintage store, The "Appalachian Project" - a literary book-length ballad on rural, impoverished Appalachian women, and the editorship of a print poetry-only journal called Oscillation: Poetry in Motion.
